Daniel Brownstein has filed to run for Mount Pleasant Town Council to ensure the town endures as a family-friendly community that is welcoming to all. He will appear on the Nov. 7 ballot. Brownstein, 42, is a married father of two who works as the marketing director at the law firm Rogers, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman in Mount Pleasant. His priorities are to implement traffic solutions for persistent road and transportation problems; address public safety concerns, including the low salaries of emergency responders and the need for reliable firetrucks and safety equipment; and improve the quality of life for all residents.
