Tourism industry cited for restaurant's expansion plan in Lowcountry A fondue restaurant chain plans to expand into the Lowcountry. Bob Johnston, CEO of The Melting Pot, said the Tampa, Fla.-based company is looking to add two locations in Charleston and Mount Pleasant. He cited the Palmetto State's strong tourism industry as a key reason for the expansion plan.
